Disappearer, 2025

Jon Witzky is a visual artist based in Savannah, Georgia. He serves as the Program Director at ARTS Southeast, where he oversees exhibitions, residencies, and artist initiatives that support emerging and established artists across the region.

Witzky is also the Co-Founder of IMPACT Arts + Culture Magazine, a publication dedicated to critical dialogue and contemporary art in the Southeast.

As a painter, Witzky's work moves between abstraction and figuration, exploring the psychological and symbolic dimensions of form. His ongoing Disappearer series investigates themes of transformation, absence, and the tension between visibility and erasure.

Across his artistic and curatorial practice, Witzky is committed to fostering experimental approaches to contemporary art and cultivating meaningful exchange within the Southern cultural landscape.
